How to reach Innovation Home Tampere

 

Our Finlayson location is situated by the Tammerkoski rapids, in the historic factory district right in the heart of Tampere. You can easily reach us on foot, by public transport, or by car. From the railway station and the Central Square, it only takes a few minutes to get here.

Below you’ll find instructions on how to find the right building, along with some practical tips for your visit.

When entering through the main Finlayson gate, walk straight ahead to the end of the road. Turn right onto Finlaysoninkuja and go through the white, wall-like archway. Continue straight ahead and pass through a second archway. Finlaysoninkuja curves at the end into an inner courtyard.

Our office is located on the outer edge of the Finlaysoninkuja courtyard, on the Tammerkoski river side, at entrance 21 A.
We are on the first floor of the building.

When you arrive, please ring the doorbell at the entrance, and our Community Manager will welcome you.

TRANSPORT CONNECTIONS

Public transport

The nearest bus stops to the Finlayson area are located on Satakunnankatu. Several Tampere Regional Transport (Nysse) bus lines stop at the Finlayson and Frenckell stops. Tram line 1 also runs from the Central Square (Keskustori) to the area.

Parking in the Finlayson Area

There are several paid parking options near the Finlayson area. The P-Plevna parking facility (entrance from Polttimonkatu 5) offers more than 600 parking spaces. In addition, there are outdoor parking areas nearby at Portinvartijanparkki and Polttimonparkki. Other parking garages close to the area include P-Frenckell (Frenckellinaukio 3) and P-Näsinkulma (Satakunnankatu 25).

Areas suitable for short-term parking and accessible parking can be found on Itäinenkatu (in front of Mehiläinen), Väinö Linna Square (in front of the Werstas Museum), and on Finlaysoninkuja.

A bicycle parking area is located directly opposite entrance 21 A on Finlaysoninkuja.
